उच्चतर अध्ययन अथिा प्रजिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम का आरंभ तथा दतं महाजिद्यालयों में प्रिेि क्षमता म ें िृजि) जिजनयम,
2006, में एतद्वारा जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती ह,ै अथाात:-
1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ-
(i) इन जिजनयमों को ‘‘भारतीय दतं पररषद (नए दतं महाजिद्यालयों की स्ट्थापना, नए या उच्चतर अध्ययन
अथिा प्रजिक्षण पाठ्यक्रम का आरंभ तथा दतं महाजिद्यालयों में प्रिेि क्षमता में िृजि) (15िां संिोधन)
जिजनयम, 2020 कहा िा सकता ह;ै
(ii) यह केिल िैक्षजणक सत्र 2020-21 के जलए ददनांक 01.06.2020 से प्रभािी होंगे।

प्रािधान की प्रजिजि की िाती ह,ै अथाात;
“बिते दक दकसी भी कारण से उत्पन्न होने िाली ररि सीटों के जलए,
केिल िैक्षजणक सत्र 2020-21 के जलए, छात्रों को अंजतम जतजथ
31.07.2020 तक ही प्रिेि ददया/ सजममजलत (ज्िॉयन) दकया िा

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th June, 2020
No.DE-22-2020.—In exercise of the powers conferred upon the Dental Council of India under Section 20 of
the Dentists Act, 1948, the Dental Council of India, with the sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the
following Amendment to the existing Principal “Dental Council of India (Establishment of New Dental Colleges,
Opening of New or Higher Course of Study or Training and Increase of Admission Capacity in Dental Colleges)
Regulations, 2006”, published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 12.01.2006 namely:-
1. Short title and Commencement:-
(i) These Regulations may be called the “Dental Council of India (Establishment of New Dental
Colleges, Opening of New or Higher Course of Study or Training and Increase of Admission
Capacity in Dental Colleges) (15th Amendment) Regulations, 2020.
(ii) They shall come into force w.e.f. 01.06.2020 only for the academic year 2020-21.
2. In “Dental Council of India (Establishment of New Dental Colleges, Opening of New or Higher Course of
Study or Training and Increase of Admission Capacity in Dental Colleges) (8th Amendment) Regulations,
2016 and (10th Amendment) Regulations, 2018”, published in Part III, Section 4 of the Official Gazette of
India, Extraordinary, dated 11.03.2016 and 15.03.2018, after word “By 31st May”, occurred at S.No.8,[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
Column 4 of the table of Notification 07.03.2016 (8th Amendment) and 12.03.2018 (10th Amendment)” with
respect to Time Schedule, the following proviso is hereby inserted namely:-
“Provided that the last date upto which students can be admitted /joined
against vacancies arising due to any reason shall be 31.07.2020 only for
the academic session 2020-21.”
