हुए, भारत सरकार के पत्र सं. V.12025/1/98-डीइ ददनांक 15/16 जुलाइ, 2009 के ऄजधक्रमण में, केन्र सरकार की
ऄजिम स्ट्वीकृजत स े भारतीय दन्त पररषद, भारत के राजपत्र, ऄसाधारण, भाग-III की धारा 4, ददनांक 19 ऄगस्ट्त,
2008 में प्रकाजित मौजूदा प्रमखु डेंटल काईंजसल ऑफ आंजडया डेंटल मैकेजनक्स कोसस (जचदकत्सकीय यांजत्रकी पाठ्यक्रम)
जवजनयम, 2008 में जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती ह,ै नामतः-
1. संजिप्त िीषसक एवं प्रारंभ:-
(i) आन जवजनयमों को भारतीय दन्त पररषद मैकेजनक्स कोस स (पहल े संिोधन) जवजनयम, 2020 कहा
जाएगा।
(ii) ये ऄजधकाररक राजपत्र में ऄपन ेप्रकािन की जतजथ स े लागू होंग।े
2. मौजूदा "भारतीय दन्त पररषद डेंटल मैकेजनक्स कोसस ऄजधजनयम, 2008" के ऄंतगसत मख्ु य िीषस "डेंटल
मकैेजनक्स के जलए न्यनूतम जििा मानक के ऄनरुिण हते ुजवजनयम" जवजनयम सं. 2 के ऄंतगतस जनम्नजलजखत जवजनयम को
आसके स्ट्थान पर प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया जाता ह:ै
2(1) ‘एतदद्वारा जनधासररत की गइ ऄन्य सभी अवश्यकताओं की पूर्तत की ितस के अधार पर,
संबंजधत राज्य सरकार द्वारा डेंटल मैकेजनक कोसस अरंभ करने/सीटों को बढाने की अवश्यक ऄनुमजत
प्राप्त करने तथा तकनीकी जांच के जलए ऄजनवायस प्रमाणपत्र प्राप्त करने के पश्चात, आच्छुक दन्त कॉलेज
डेंटल मैकेजनक म ेंजडप्लोमा िरुु करन ेके जलए भारतीय दन्त पररषद म ेंअवेदन िुल्क 1.5 लाख रुपय े

एवं लागू जीएसटी की राजि सजचव, भारतीय दन्त पररषद, नइ ददल्ली के पि में देय जडमाडं ड्राफ्ट/प े
ऑडरस/एनइएफटी/अरटीजीएस के माध्यम स े भुगतान करके अवेदन करेंगे। िासकीय दन्त
कॉलेजों/संस्ट्थानों को दकसी भी अवेदन/जनरीिण िल्ुक से छूट दी गइ ह।ै
2(2) जब कॉलेज का पहला बैच ऄपने ऄंजतम वष सके जडप्लोमा कोसस की परीिा देता है, संबंजधत
कॉलेज मान्यता िुल्क 3 लाख रुपय ेएवं लागू जीएसटी की राजि के साथ डीसीअइ को दंत जचदकत्सा
ऄजधजनयम की धारा 12 के ऄधीन आसके डेंटल मैकेजनक्स जडप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रम की मान्यता के जलए
अवेदन करेगा, जो दक ‘सजचव, दंत जचदकत्सा पररषद को जडमांड ड्राफ्ट/प े अडरस/
एनइएफटी/अरटीजीएस के माध्यम से ददल्ली में देय’ होना चाजहए। आसके ऄलावा कॉलेज आसके
ईपरान्त प्रत्यके ऄनुवती ऄनुपालना के सत्यापन के जलए, यदद कोइ हो, 1.5 लाख रुपय ेएवं लाग ू
जीएसटी की राजि जनरीिण दकए जाने की जतजथ के 15 ददनों के भीतर भगुतान करेगा।
बिते दक िासकीय दन्त कॉलजे ों को दोनों प्रकार के िल्ु क स ेछूट दी जाएगी।

AMENDMENT NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 28th April, 2020
F. No. DE-54-2019.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 20 of the Dentists Act,
1948, the Dental Council of India, in supersession of GOI’s letter No.V.12025/1/98-DE dated 15/16
July, 2009, with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following
Amendments to the existing principal Dental Council of India Dental Mechanics Course Regulations,
2008, published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated 19th August, 2008
namely:–
1. Short title and commencement:–
(i) These Regulations may be called the Dental Council of India Dental Mechanics Course
(1st Amendment) Regulations, 2020.
(ii) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In existing ―Dental Council of India Dental Mechanics Course Regulations, 2008‖, under the
main Head “REGULATIONS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL
STANDARD FOR DENTAL MECHANICS:”, for Regulation No.2, the following Regulation is hereby
substituted namely:
2(1) „Subject to the fulfillment all other requirements as prescribed hereinafter, the
dental college/institution desirous to start diploma in Dental Mechanics shall apply to
the Dental Council of India with an application fee of Rs. 1.5 lakh plus GST as
applicable by Demand Draft/Pay Order/NEFT/RTGS in favour of „Secretary, Dental
Council of India, payable at Delhi‟, after obtaining Essentiality Certificate from the
respective State Government for technical scrutiny and for obtaining the necessary
permission for starting/Increase of seats in the Dental Mechanics Course. The
Government Dental Colleges/Institutions are exempted from any application/Inspection
fee.
2(2) The college, when its first batch appears in its final year diploma course
examination, shall apply to DCI alongwith a recognition fee of Rs.3 lakhs plus GST as
applicable, for recognition of its diploma in Dental Mechanics, u/s 12 of the Dentists[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का राजपत्र : ऄसाधारण 3
Act, by Demand Draft/Pay Order/NEFT/RTGS in favour of „Secretary, Dental Council
of India, payable at Delhi‟, Further the college shall pay Rs. 1.5 lakhs plus GST as
applicable for each subsequent compliance verification, if any, within 15 days from the
date of inspection.
Provided that the Government Dental Colleges shall be exempted from both
kind of fee.
