एतद्द्वारा अध्यािेि 1(I) (िैक्षजणक)- संकाय और अध्ययन जिभाग, 12(XII) (िैक्षजणक)- प्रिेि सजिजतयााँ और अध्यािेि 15-A(XV-A) और 15- C(XV-C) (िैक्षजणक)- क्रेजडट-आधाररत सेिेस्ट्टर प्रणाली के अंतगतय स्नातकोत्तर काययक्रिों की जिश्वजिद्यालय परीक्षाओं ि ें और सांजिजधक जनकायों द्वारा जिजनयजित काययक्रिों-बैचलर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉिी (उप-धारा 3) िें जनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती ह:ै अध्यािेि – 1 (I) सकं ाय और अध्ययन जिभाग 1. सकं ाय जिश्वजिद्यालय िें जनम्नजलजखत संकाय होंगे, अर्ायत:् (i) िानजिकी एिं भाषा संकाय; (ii) सािाजिक जिज्ञान संकाय; 6354 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] (iii) जिक्षा संकाय; (iv) अजभयांजिकी एिं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय; (v) जिजध संकाय; (vi) िास्ट्तुकला एिं एदकजस्ट्टक्स संकाय; (vii) लजलत कला संकाय; (viii) िंत जचदकत्सा संकाय; (ix) प्रबंधन अध्ययन संकाय; (x) जिज्ञान संकाय; (xi) िीिन जिज्ञान संकाय; और (xii) ऐसे अन्य संकाय, िो पररजनयिों द्वारा जनधायररत दकए िाएंगे। 2. अध्ययन जिभाग: (i) िानजिकी एिं भाषा संकाय िें जनम्नजलजखत अध्ययन जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत:् (1) इजतहास एिं संस्ट्कृजत जिभाग; (2) उिय ूजिभाग; (3) इस्ट्लािी अध्ययन जिभाग; (4) अरबी जिभाग; (5) फारसी जिभाग; (6) हहिं ी जिभाग; (7) अंग्रे़िी जिभाग; (8) संस्ट्कृत जिभाग; (9) जििेिी भाषा जिभाग; और (8) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (ii) सािाजिक जिज्ञान संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत:् (1) अर्यिास्त्र जिभाग; (2) रािनीजत जिज्ञान जिभाग; (3) सिाि कायय जिभाग; (4) सिाििास्त्र जिभाग; (5) िनोजिज्ञान जिभाग; (6) िाजणज्य एिं व्यािसाजयक अध्ययन जिभाग; (7) प्रौढ़ एिं सतत जिक्षा तर्ा जिस्ट्तार जिभाग; और (8) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (iii) जिक्षा संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत्: (1) िैजक्षक अध्ययन जिभाग; (2) जिक्षक प्रजिक्षण और अनौपचाररक जिक्षा जिभाग (जिक्षा िें उन्नत अध्ययन संस्ट्र्ान); और[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपि : असाधारण 3 (3) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (iv) अजभयांजिकी एिं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय िें जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग और जिश्वजिद्यालय पॉजलटेदक्नक िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत:् (a) अध्ययन जिभाग (1) जसजिल अजभयांजिकी जिभाग; (2) िैकेजनकल अजभयांजिकी जिभाग; (3) इलेजक्रकल अजभयांजिकी जिभाग; (4) अनुप्रयिु जिज्ञान एि ंिानजिकी जिभाग; (5) इलेक्रॉजनक्स एिं संचार अजभयांजिकी जिभाग; (6) कंप्यूटर अजभयांजिकी जिभाग; (7) पयायिरण जिज्ञान जिभाग; और (8) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (b) जिश्वजिद्यालय पॉजलटेदक्नक (v) जिजध संकाय िें एक जिजध जिभाग और ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंगे और सौंपे िाएंगे। (vi) िास्ट्तुकला एिं एदकजस्ट्टक्स संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत्: (1) िास्ट्तुकला जिभाग; (2) जड़िाइन एिं निाचार जिभाग; (3) योिना जिभाग; और (4) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (vii) लजलत कला संकाय ि ेंअध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत्: (1) जचिकला जिभाग; (2) िूर्तयकला जिभाग; (3) अनुप्रयिु कला जिभाग; (4) कला जिक्षा जिभाग; (5) ग्रादफक कला जिभाग; (6) कला इजतहास एिं कला प्रिंसा जिभाग; और (7) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (viii) िंत जचदकत्सा संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंग,े अर्ायत्: (1) िंत जिज्ञान जिभाग; (2) जचदकत्सा जिज्ञान जिभाग; और (3) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (ix) प्रबंधन अध्ययन संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत्: (1) पययटन एिं आजतथ्य प्रबधं न जिभाग; (2) अस्ट्पताल प्रबंधन एि ंहोजस्ट्पस अध्ययन जिभाग;4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART जिज्ञान जिभाग; (3) भूगोल; (4) गजणत जिभाग; (5) कंप्यूटर जिज्ञान जिभाग; और (6) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। (xi) िीिन जिज्ञान संकाय िें अध्ययन के जनम्नजलजखत जिभाग िाजिल होंगे, अर्ायत्: (1) िैि जिज्ञान जिभाग; (2) िैि प्रौद्योजगकी जिभाग; और (3) ऐसे अन्य जिभाग िो सिय-सिय पर बनाए िाएंग ेऔर सौंपे िाएंगे। 12(XII) (िक्षै जणक) - प्रििे सजिजतया ाँ परै ा 3.1 ि ेंजनम्नजलजखत सिं ोधन: सिं ोजधत परै ा 3.1 िानजिकी एिं भाषा / सािाजिक जिज्ञान / जिज्ञान / िीिन जिज्ञान सकं ाय परै ा 3.11 ि ें जनम्नजलजखत िाजिल ह:ैं 3.11 प्रबधं न अध्ययन सकं ाय: प्रबंधन अध्ययन संकाय के प्रत्यके अध्ययन जिभाग िें, जिभागों द्वारा संचाजलत पाठ्यक्रिों के जलए एक प्रिेि सजिजत होगी, जिसिें जनम्नजलजखत सिस्ट्य िाजिल होंगे: 1. जिभागाध्यक्ष (अध्यक्ष) 2. डीन द्वारा नाजित सिस्ट्य 3. जिभाग के तीन जिक्षक-प्रोफेसर, एसोजसएट प्रोफेसर और सहायक प्रोफेसर ि ें स े प्रत्येक स े बारी-बारी स े एक-एक 4. कुलपजत द्वारा एक नाजित सिस्ट्य[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपि : असाधारण 5 अध्यािेि 15-A (XV-A) क्रेजडट-आधाररत सिे स्ट्े टर प्रणाली के तहत स्नातकोत्तर कायक्रय िों ि ेंजिश्वजिद्यालय परीक्षाएं धारा संिोजधत प्रािधान 4.1 दकसी कायक्रय ि ि ें जनम्नजलजखत ि ें स े कुछ घटक िाजिल हो सकत े हैं, िसै े दक: सद्ै ाजं तक पाठ्यक्रि, प्रयोगिाला पाठ्यक्रि, फीलडिकय, ब्लॉक प्लसे िटें , पररयोिना, िोध प्रबधं (Dissertation), सजे िनार, औद्योजगक प्रजिक्षण आदि; जिस े सबं जं धत अध्ययन बोड/यअध्ययन सजिजत द्वारा जनधारय रत दकया गया हो और जिस े सबं जं धत अध्ययन बोड/यअध्ययन सजिजत की जसफाररि पर अकािजिक पररषि द्वारा अनिु ोदित दकया गया हो। जिजभन्न घटकों के जलए अकं ों की गणना इस प्रकार होगी: A.1.1.1.1.1 सद्ै ाजं तक पाठ्यक्रि के जलए आंतररक िूलयांकन आिंरटत अंकों का 25% सेिेस्ट्टर-अंत परीक्षा आिंरटत अंकों का 75% प्रयोगिाला/प्रायोजगक पाठ्यक्रि / सजे िनार / पररयोिना/ िोध प्रबधं के जलए आंतररक िूलयांकन आिंरटत अंकों का 50% प्रायोजगक परीक्षा और िौजखक परीआक्षाि ंरटत अंक आिंरटत अंकों का 50% क्रेजडट-आधाररत सिे स्ट्े टर प्रणाली के तहत एि.एड. पाठ्यक्रि के जलए आंतररक िूलयांकन आिंरटत अंकों का 30% सेिेस्ट्टर-अंत परीक्षा आिंरटत अंकों का 70% अजभयाजं िकी एि ंप्रौद्योजगकी सकं ाय के एि. टेक. कायक्रय िों के जलए सद्ै ाजं तक पाठ्यक्रि के जलए आंतररक िूलयांकन आिंरटत अंकों का 40% सेिेस्ट्टर-अतं परीक्षा आिंरटत अंकों का 60% प्रयोगिाला/प्रायोजगक पाठ्यक्रि / सजे िनार / पररयोिना/ िोध प्रबधं के जलए आंतररक िूलयांकन आिंरटत अंकों का 60% प्रायोजगक परीक्षा और िौजखक परीक्षा आिंरटत अंकों का 40% 5.5 सचं यी ग्रडे पॉइंट औसत (सीिीपीए) का रूपातं रण सिू अंजति िषय एि. टेक. परीक्षा के बाि सीिीपीए को कुल अंकों के सितलु य प्रजतित (Y%) ि ें बिलन े के उद्देश्य स,े सीिीपीए को 10 के गणु क से गणु ा दकया िाएगा। Y% = 10 x CGPA 14. अजभयांजिकी एिं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय िें एि. टेक. 1. एि. टेक. लघ ु पररयोिना/िोध प्रबंध (Dissertation) परीक्षाएं हर साल िून/िलु ाई या निंबर/दिसंबर िें आयोजित की िाएगं ी। यदि कोई छाि दकसी सेिेस्ट्टर िें, डीन द्वारा अजधसूजचत जनधायररत सिय के भीतर अपना िोध प्रबंध (Thesis) ििा करने ि ें जिफल रहता ह,ै तो उसे अगले सेिस्ट्े टर िें इसे ििा करने की अनुिजत िी िाएगी, िैसा दक डीन द्वारा अजधसूजचत दकया िाएगा। 2. यदि कोई छाि धारा 14.1 के अनुसार र्ीजसस ििा करन े िें असफल रहता ह,ै तो उसे अगले सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें र्ीजसस ििा करने स ेपहले, जिश्वजिद्यालय द्वारा जनधायररत फीस का भुगतान करना होगा। 3. एि.टेक. लघु िोध पररयोिना और जडसटेिन के िो जिड-सिे ेस्ट्टर िूलयांकन होंगे, िो जिभागीय सजिजत द्वारा दकए िाएगाँ े; इन िूलयांकनों का आंतररक िलू यांकन ि ें 40% अजधभार होगा िैसा दक इस अध्यािेि की धारा 4.1 िें बताया गया ह,ै और िेष 60% अजधभार सुपरिाइ़िर द्वारा दिया िाएगा। 4. एि. टेक. जडसटेिन का प्लेिररज़्ि (साजहजत्यक चोरी) चेक दकया िाएगा, िैसा दक अध्यािेि 9 (IX) 'डॉक्टर ऑफ दफलॉसफी (पीएच.डी.) जडग्री' की धारा 13(k) िें जनधायररत दकया गया ह।ै6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] अध्यािेि 15-C (XV-C) सांजिजधक जनकायों (िैक्षजणक) द्वारा जिजनयजित काययक्रिों िें जिश्वजिद्यालय परीक्षाएं बचै लर ऑफ टेक्नोलॉिी (उप-धारा 3) धारा सिं ोजधत प्रािधान 2. कोई कोस य थ्योरी कोसय (जिसिें ऑजडट कोस य भी िाजिल ह)ैं या प्रैजक्टकल कोस य (जिसि ें पररयोिना, सेजिनार, फीलड िकय, औद्योजगक प्रजिक्षण आदि िाजिल ह)ैं हो सकता ह।ै हर कोस य के जलए क्रेजडट की एक तय संख्या होगी, जिसका फैसला संबंजधत अध्ययन बोडय करेगा। हर क्रेजडट 25 अकं ों के बराबर होगा। 6. यदि दकसी सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें दकसी छाि को उपजस्ट्र्जत की किी के कारण रोक दिया िाता ह,ै तो उसे अगले सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें प्रिोट नहीं दकया िाएगा। उस े अगले सेिस्ट्े टर के जलए भी रोक दिया िाएगा। इसके बाि, िह उसी सेिेस्ट्टर का एक जनयजित छाि बन िाएगा जिसि ें उसे रोका गया र्ा। एक जनयजित छाि के रूप ि,ें िह जिड-सेिेस्ट्टर टेस्ट्ट के सार्-सार् एडं -सेिेस्ट्टर परीक्षा ि ें भी िाजिल होगा। अध्यािेि-5 की धारा 5.1 और 5.2 के अनसु ार पनु ःप्रििे होगा। 16.1 प्रत्येक कोस य ि ें एक लेटर ग्रडे दिया िाएगा, और O, A+, A, B+, B, C या P उत्तीणय ग्रेड प्राप्त करन े पर यह िाना िाएगा दक छाि न ेउस कोस य के जलए जनधायररत क्रेजडट अर्ियत कर जलए ह।ैं 16.2 दकसी कोस य के िूलयांकन के िो घटकों (जिड सेिेस्ट्टर िलू यांकन और एडं सेिस्ट्े टर परीक्षाओं) ि ें दकसी छाि द्वारा प्राप्त कुल अंक, नीचे िी गई ताजलका के अनुसार 10-पॉइंट स्ट्केल पर लेटर ग्रेड (O, A+, A, B+, B, C, P और F) िेन े का आधार होंग:े ग्रहे डंग प्रणाली ग्रडे अकं ों की सीिा ग्रडे हबिं ु िहत्ि 40 0 अनुत्तीण य M#: 100-पॉइंट के पैिान े पर दकसी छाि द्वारा प्राप्त अंक। िब छाि कोई ऑजडट कोस य करत े ह,ैं तो उन्ह ें जबना दकसी क्रेजडट के 'उत्तीण'य (P) या 'अनुत्तीणय' (F) ग्रडे दिया िाता ह।ै उत्तीणय होने का िापिडं िही होगा िो क्रेजडट कोस य के जलए होता ह।ै 18 सेिेस्ट्टर ग्रेड पॉइंट औसत (SGPA) यह सेिेस्ट्टर के िौरान सभी पाठ्यक्रिों के ग्रेड पॉइंट्स का भाररत औसत है, और इसकी गणना जनम्नानुसार की िाएगी: = यह योग उस सेमेस्टर के सभी पाठ्यक्रमों पर लागू होता ह।ै यह योग उस सेिेस्ट्टर के सभी पाठ्यक्रिों पर लागू होता है।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपि : असाधारण 7 19 सचं यी ग्रडे पॉइंट औसत (सीिीपीए) दकसी छाि के अंजति सीिीपीए (संचयी ग्रडे पॉइंट औसत) की गणना 10 पॉइंट के आधार पर की िाएगी और सार् ही यह गणना बी.टेक. के पहल े साल, िसू रे साल, तीसरे साल और चौर् े (अंजति) साल ि ें उम्िीििार के प्रिियन (परफॉिेंस) के आधार पर भी होगी। चारों सालों ि ें प्रत्येक िषय ि ें दिया गया सापक्षे िेटेि इस प्रकार होगा: (i) पहला साल 25% (I और II सेिेस्ट्टर के एसिीपीए के योग का) (ii) िसू रा साल 50% (III और IV सेिेस्ट्टर के एसिीपीए के योग का) (iii) तीसरा साल 75% (V और VI सेिेस्ट्टर के एसिीपीए के योग का) (iv) चौर्ा (अंजति) साल 100% (VII और VIII सेिेस्ट्टर के एसिीपीए के योग का) िहााँ एसिीपीए (सेिेस्ट्टर ग्रडे पॉइंट औसत) की गणना ऊपर डी गई धारा 18 के प्रािधानों के अनुसार की िाएगी। िब छाि कोई ऑजडट कोस य करते ह,ैं तो उन्ह ें जबना दकसी क्रेजडट के उत्तीणय (P) या अनत्तु ीणय (F) ग्रेड दिया िाएगा। जडग्री प्राप्त करने के जलए, छाि को सभी अजनिाय यऑजडट कोस य पास करने होंगे। 20. श्रेणी श्रेणी जनम्नजलजखत तरीके स े प्रिान की िाएगी (10 के अजधकति सीिीपीए को आधार िानकर): प्रर्ि श्रेणी जिजिष्टता के सार् CGPA>8 प्रर्ि श्रेणी 6.5 <CGPA<8 जद्वतीय श्रेणी CGPA< 6.5 21. सचं यी प्रििनय इंडेक्स (सीिीपीए) का रूपातं रण सिू बी.टेक. अंजति िष य की परीक्षा के बाि सीिीपीए को कुल अंकों के सितलु य प्रजतित (Y %) ि ें बिलने के जलए, सीिीपीए को 10 के एक गुणक स े गुणा दकया िाएगा। Y% = 10xCGPA 22. िाइनर जडग्री और ऑनस य जडग्री 22.1 िाइनर जडग्री, दकसी स्नातक जडग्री प्रोग्राि ि ें उभरते हुए/बहु-जिषयक क्षिे िें एक जििेषज्ञता होगी, जिसि ें दकसी अन्य जिभाग का छाि अजतररि 18 क्रेजडट (अजधिानतः 5 सैद्ांजतक पाठ्यक्रि, 3 प्रयोगिाला पाठ्यक्रि/एक पररयोिना काय)य प्राप्त करेगा। 22.2 ऑनस य जडग्री, स्नातक जडग्री काययक्रि के अंतगयत दकसी उभरत े हुए/बहु-जिषयक क्षिे ि ें एक जििेषज्ञता होगी, जिसि ें उसी जिभाग का कोई छाि अजतररि 18 क्रेजडट (अजधिानतः 5 सैद्ांजतक पाठ्यक्रि, 3 प्रयोगिाला पाठ्यक्रि/एक पररयोिना काय)य प्राप्त करेगा। 22.3 जिभाग के 'अध्ययन बोड'य (Board of Studies), 'संकाय सजिजत' (Faculty Committee) द्वारा जिजधित अनुिोदित 'िाइनर' और 'ऑनसय' जडजग्रयों की सूची ि ें स,े उन 'िाइनर' और 'ऑनसय' जडजग्रयों की एक सूची का चयन और प्रस्ट्ताि दकया िाएगा, जिन्ह ें जिभाग बी.टेक. काययक्रि के तीसरे सेिेस्ट्टर की िुरुआत ि,ें बी.टेक.काययक्रि के अंतगतय प्रस्ट्ततु करना चाहता ह।ै 22.4 अनुप्रयिु जिज्ञान एिं िानजिकी जिभाग को छोड़कर, अन्य सभी जिभाग के जलए कि स े कि एक िाइनर जडग्री और एक ऑनस यजडग्री संचाजलत करना अजनिाय य ह।ै8 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] 22.5 िाइनर और ऑनस य जडग्री तभी िुरू की िाएगी, िब पंिीकरण के सिय पंिीकृत छािों की न्यूनति संख्या 12 स े कि न हो। िाइनर जडग्री कोस य ि ें अजधकति 120 छािों के िाजखला लेन े की अनुिजत होगी (अर्ायत 60-60 छािों के िो सेक्िन)। 22.6 अजभयांजिकी एि ं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय ि ें िाइनर और ऑनस य काययक्रिों के जलए एक सिन्ियक होगा, और प्रत्येक जिभाग ि ें एक जिभागीय सिन्ियक होगा। य े सिन्ियक, तीसरे सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें िाइनर/ऑनस य के आिंटन को अंजति रूप िेने के जलए डीन के सार् जिलकर काय य करेंगे। 23 पािता 23.1 कोई जनयजित छाि, अजभयांजिकी एि ं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय के दकसी भी अन्य जिभाग द्वारा सचं ाजलत िाइनर जडग्री के जलए आिेिन करन े का पाि होगा, बित े िह जिभाग उसका अपना िूल जिभाग न हो। जिद्यार्ी को अजभयांजिकी एि ं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय द्वारा संचाजलत सभी िाइनर और ऑनस य जडजग्रयों ि ें स े केिल एक जडग्री लेन े की अनुिजत होगी, बित े िह पािता िानिंडों को परू ा करता हो। 23.4 प्रत्येक छाि तीसरे सेिेस्ट्टर के िध्य तक, संकाय स्ट्तर पर एक साझा पोटयल के िाध्यि स,े िाइनर जडग्री (यदि लाग ू हो, तो अजधकति तीन तक) या ऑनस य के जलए पंिीकरण हते ु अपनी प्रार्जिकता प्रस्ट्तुत करेगा। िाइनस य का आिंटन धारा 22.6 ि ें उजललजखत सजिजत द्वारा सिजन्ित दकया िाएगा, और ऑनसय का आिंटन संबंजधत जिभागों द्वारा दकया िाएगा। 23.5 ऑनस य और िाइनर के जलए अजं ति िेररट सूची, िसू रे सेिेस्ट्टर के अतं ि ें प्राप्त एसिीपीए िापस लने ा 24.1 छाि, जिभाग सिन्ियक द्वारा जिजधित अग्रेजषत आिेिन जिभागाध्यक्ष को प्रस्ट्ततु करके ऑनस य जडग्री से बाहर जनकलने का जिकलप चनु सकता ह।ै छाि, जिभाग सिन्ियक और जिभागाध्यक्ष द्वारा जिजधित अग्रेजषत आिेिन संकाय के डीन को प्रस्ट्तुत करके िाइनर जडग्री से बाहर जनकलने का जिकलप चनु सकता ह।ै जिभागाध्यक्ष/डीन ऐस े िािलों पर जिचार करेंगे और िािले की िेररट के आधार पर संबंजधत छाि का िाइनर/ऑनसय स े पंिीकरण रद्द कर सकते ह।ैं 24.2 ऐस े आिेिन ििा करने की अंजति जतजर् चौर्े सेिस्ट्े टर की कक्षाए ं िुरू होने स े पहल े होगी। 24.3 एक बार िब दकसी छाि का चयन दकसी िाइनर या ऑनस य जडग्री के जलए हो िाता ह,ै और िह अंजति जतजर् स े पहले अपना पंिीकरण रद्द (de-registration) करन े के जलए आिेिन नहीं करता ह,ै तर्ा उसका पंिीकरण रद्द नहीं दकया िाता ह,ै तो िह उस िाइनर या ऑनसय जडग्री का जनयजित छाि बन िाएगा। 24.4 संबंजधत छाि को िाइनर या ऑनस य जडग्री पाठ्यक्रिों की सभी कक्षाओं ि ें उपजस्ट्र्त होना होगा, और अध्यािेि ि ें जनधायररत न्यनू ति उपजस्ट्र्जत िानिंडों को परू ा करना होगा। 25 SWAYAM पर NPTEL के ऑनस/य िाइनर जडग्री कोस य SWAYAM प्लेटफॉिय पर NPTEL के िाध्यि से ऑनस य /िाइनर जडग्री के जलए अजधकति िो कोस य की अनुिजत िी िा सकती ह।ै इन कोसय की पहचान और िं़िरू ी संबंजधत अध्ययन बोडय द्वारा की िाएगी। 26 िाइनर और ऑनस य जडग्री प्रिान करना 26.1 एक जनयजित छाि बी.टेक.जडग्री (163 क्रेजडट) की आिश्यकता के अजतररि 18 और क्रेजडट परू े करन े के बाि िाइनर जडग्री स ेसम्िाजनत होन े के जलए पाि हो िाएगा।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपि : असाधारण 9 26.2 एक जनयजित छाि बी.टेक. जडग्री (163 क्रेजडट) के जलए ़िरूरी क्रेजडट के अलािा 18 अजतररि क्रेजडट परू े करन े के बाि, ऑनस य कोस य को छोड़कर, 8 या उससे ज़्यािा के कुल सीिीपीए के सार् ऑनस य स े सम्िाजनत होने के योग्य हो िाएगा। 26.3 इस अध्यािेि की धारा 8 के अनुसार, िाइनर/ऑनस य पाठ्यक्रिों ि ें छािों द्वारा अर्ियत क्रेजडट को प्रोन्नजत के जलए नहीं जगना िाएगा। 26.4 िाइनर जडग्री के े िारी की िाएगी। 27 अजभयांजिकी एि ं प्रौद्योजगकी सकं ाय के कायक्रय िों के जलए SWAYAM पर NPTEL पाठ्यक्रि 27.1 अजभयांजिकी एि ं प्रौद्योजगकी संकाय ि ें SWAYAM पर NPTEL सिन्ियक होगा, और प्रत्येक जिभाग ि ें एक जिभागीय सिन्ियक होगा। 27.2 जिभागीय NPTEL सिन्ियक, छािों स े सझु ाि लेकर, प्रत्येक सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें NPTEL पंिीकरण पोटयल खलु न े स े 30 दिन पहले, प्रस्ट्ताजित NPTEL पाठ्यक्रिों की एक सूची तैयार करेगा और उस े अध्ययन बोड यको प्रस्ट्तुत करेगा। 27.3 जिभाग का अध्ययन बोडय आििे नों का िलू यांकन करेगा और NPTEL पंिीकरण िुरू होन े स े पहल,े पाठ्यक्रि के अनुसार SWAYAM पर NPTEL के िाध्यि स े संचाजलत दकए िाने िाल े कोसय उपलब्ध कराएगा। 27.4 NPTEL कोस य स े छाि द्वारा अर्ियत क्रेजडट की संख्या, कोस य संरचना ि ें उस कोस य के क्रेजडट के बराबर या उसस े अजधक होनी चाजहए, जिसके बिले ि ेंइस ेप्रस्ट्ततु दकया गया ह।ै 27.5 जिभाग, उद्योग की उभरती और रणनीजतक िागं ों को ध्यान ि ें रखत े हुए, पाठ्यक्रि संरचना ि ें NPTEL स े और अजधक िैकजलपक पाठ्यक्रि िोड़ सकता ह।ै 27.6 छािों को बी.टेक. के दकसी भी सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें NPTEL स े कोस य चनु न े की अनुिजत होगी, बित े दक कोस य संरचना और पूि-य आिश्यकताओं (pre-requisites) के अनुसार ि े उपलब्ध हों (भले ही िे दकसी अन्य सेिेस्ट्टर ि ें उपलब्ध हों), और इसके जलए अध्ययन बोडय की स्ट्िीकृजत आिश्यक होगी। 27.7 अकािजिक काउंजसल के जनणयय के अनुसार, जिभाग प्रजत सेिस्ट्े टर NPTEL स े अजधकति 20% कोस य करन े की अनिु जत िगे ा। यदि कोई छाि इंटनयजिप के जलए एक सेिेस्ट्टर की छुट्टी लेना चाहता ह,ै तो उसे प्रजत सेिेस्ट्टर NPTEL स े एक अजतररि कोस यकरन े की अनुिजत िी िाएगी। 27.8 छाि NPTEL के जिक्षण, आतं ररक िूलयांकन, परीक्षा, िूलयांकन, पररणािों, पास/फेल, क्रेजडट अनिु ंसा और प्रिाणपि िारी करन े स े संबंजधत सभी जनयिों और जिजनयिों का पालन करेगा। इन पाठ्यक्रिों को प्रिान करन े के संबंध ि ें जिभाग की कोई जिम्ििे ारी नहीं होगी। 27.9 छाि परीक्षा िुलक सीधे NPTEL को ििा करेंगे। िलु क भगु तान M.Tech. Dissertation will have plagiarism check as prescribed in clause 13(k) of Ordinance 9 (IX) Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). A course may be a theory course (including Audit courses) or a practical course (including project, seminar, field work, industrial training etc.). A course will carry a specified number of credits decided by the concerned Board of Studies. Each credit will be equivalent to 25 marks. 6. If a student is detained due to shortage of attendance in any semester, he/she will not be promoted to the next semester. He/she will also be detained for the subsequent semester. Thereafter he/she will become a regular student of the same semester in which he/she was detained. Minor Degree and Honors Degree 22.1 Minor Degree shall be a specialization in emerging/multidisciplinary area in an undergraduate degree program where a student of another department shall take an additional 18 credits (preferably 5 Theory courses, 3 Laboratory courses/ a Project work). 22.2 Honors Degree shall be a specialization in emerging/multidisciplinary area in an undergraduate degree program where a student of the same department shall take an additional 18 credits (preferably 5 Theory courses, 3 Laboratory courses/ a Project work). 22.3 The Board of Studies of the Department shall decide and propose a list of Minor Degrees and Honors Degrees from the list of duly approved minor and honors degrees by the Faculty Committee, which the department wishes to offer in the B. Tech. program, in the beginning of the third semester of the B. Tech. program. 22.4 Each department has to compulsorily offer at least one minor degree and one honors degree excluding the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities. 22.5 A minor and honors degree will run if the minimum number of registered students is not less than 12 at the time of registration. The maximum number of students permitted to enroll a minor degree course will be 120 (two sections of 60 each). 22.6 The Faculty of Engineering & Technology will have a coordinator for Minor and Honors Programmes and each department will have a department Coordinator. The coordinators will work with the Dean for finalizing the allotment of Minors/Honors in the III semester. 23 ELIGIBILITY 23.1 A regular student is eligible to apply for the minor degree floated by any other department of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology other than his/her parent department.[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपि : असाधारण 17 23.2 The regular students who have passed in all the subjects of I and II semester of the B. Tech. program will be eligible to apply for the honors degree floated by his/her parent department. 23.3 A student will be permitted to take only one out of all the proposed minor and honors degrees floated in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology provided he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria. 23.4 Each student shall submit his/her preference for registration in the minor degree (up to a maximum of three, if applicable) or honors through a common portal at the Faculty level by the middle of the III semester. The allotment of Minors will be coordinated by the committee as given in Clause 22.6 and the allotment of Honors will be carried out by the respective Departments. 23.5 The final merit list for Honors and Minor shall be prepared based upon the SGPA obtained at the end of II semester (average of I & II semesters). A waitlist shall also be prepared by the committee as given in clause 22.6 for Minor and by the respective departments for Honors. 23.6 The students will not be permitted to change the minor degree or honors degree after the declaration of list of selected students, before the end of the session, III Semester, for the minor and/or honors degree. 24 DE-REGISTRATION OR WITHDRAWAL 24.1 The student may opt out of the honors degree by submitting an application to the Head of the Department duly forwarded by the Department Coordinator. The student may opt out of the Minor degree by submitting an application to the Dean of the Faculty duly forwarded by the Department Coordinator and Head of the Department. The Head of the Department/Dean shall consider such cases and may de-register the concerned student from Minor/Honors based on merits of the case. 24.2 The last date for submission of such application shall be before the commencement of the classes for the fourth semester. 24.3 Once the student has been selected for any minor or honors degree and has not applied for de- registration before the last date and his/her registration has not been cancelled, he/she shall become a regular student of the minor or honors degree. 24.4 The concerned student shall have to attend all the classes of minor or honors degree courses fulfilling the minimum attendance criteria as given in the ordinance. 25 NPTEL ON SWAYAM COURSES FOR HONORS/MINOR DEGREE A maximum of two courses can be permitted through NPTEL on SWAYAM platform for Honors/Minor Degree. These courses will be identified and approved by the respective Board of Studies. 26 AWARD OF MINOR AND HONORS DEGREE 26.1 A regular student will become eligible to be awarded a Minor Degree after completion of 18 additional credits over and above the requirement for a B.Tech. Degree (163 credits). 26.2 A regular student will become eligible to be awarded honors after completion of 18 additional credits over and above the requirement for a B.Tech. Degree (163 credits) with an overall CGPA of 8 or above, excluding the Honors courses. 26.3 The credits earned by the students in Minor/Honors courses will not be counted for promotion, as per clause 8 of this Ordinance18 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] 26.4 The grades obtained by the students in the courses of minor degree will not be considered for CGPA calculations. 26.5 For those students opting for Minor/honors Degree, a consolidated marksheet of the Minor/Honors degree will be issued separately 27 NPTEL on SWAYAM Courses for the Programmes of Faculty of Engineering & Technology 27.1 The Faculty of Engineering & Technology will have a NPTEL on SWAYAM coordinator and each Department will have a Departmental Coordinator. 27.2 The departmental NPTEL coordinator will prepare a list of offered NPTEL courses with inputs from students and submit it to the BOS, 30 days prior to the opening of the NPTEL Registration portal, in each semester. 27.3 The BoS of the department will assess the requests and float the courses to be offered from NPTEL on SWAYAM as per the curriculum, before the opening of the NPTEL Registration. 27.4 The number of credits earned by the student from a NPTEL course should be equal or more than the course in the course structure against which it is offered. 27.5 The department can add more elective courses from NPTEL in the course structure considering the emerging and strategic demands by the industry from NPTEL. 27.6 The students will be allowed to opt for courses from NPTEL in any semester of B. Tech, subject to its availability as per course structure and pre-requisite (even if it is available in a different semester) with the approval of the BoS. 27.7 The department will allow maximum 20% courses per semester from NPTEL as per the decision of the Academic Council. In case a student wishes to avail one semester off for internship, he/she will be permitted to take an additional course from NPTEL per semester. 27.8 The student will abide by all the rules & regulations of NPTEL regarding teaching, internal assessment, examination, evaluation, results, pass/fail, Credit recommendation and certificate issuance. The department will have no responsibility regarding the imparting of these courses. 27.9 The students will pay the examination fee to NPTEL directly. The University will not be responsible for the fee payment. 27.10 Once the result at NPTEL is declared, the NPTEL coordinator of the Faculty will send the credit recommendations and Certificates to the office of COE-JMI downloaded from the NPTEL portal, with intimation to the Head of the Department and the Dean. 27.11 The grading for the courses will be done on the final marks provided by NPTEL, as per the grading system of the Faculty of Engineering& Technology. The course will then be added to the grade sheet of the student with the credits and grade. 27.12 The Students in final year are discouraged to take courses from NPTEL/SWAYAM. Prof. (Dr.) MD.
