No. A-12013/13/RR/2016-UIDAI (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 54 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016), the Unique Identification Authority of India hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Second Amendment Regulations, 2025.4 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations), in the Schedule, against the post of— (a) “Assistant Director General” in column (1), for the figures “01” in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figure “2” shall be substituted; (b) “Section Officer” in column (1), for the figures “70” in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures, “74” shall be substituted; (c) “Assistant Section Officer” in column (1), for the figures and brackets “54* (2020)” in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures “66*” shall be substituted; (d) “Senior Principal Private Secretary / Principal Private Secretary” in column (1), the corresponding row and the entries in columns (1) to (7) shall be omitted; (e) “Private Secretary” in column (1), for the figures “29” in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures, “25” shall be substituted; and (f) “Assistant Technical Officer” in column (1), the corresponding row and the entries in columns (1) to (7) shall be omitted. 3.
