No. A-12013/13/RR/2016-UIDAI (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 54 of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016), the Unique Identification Authority of India hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Amendment Regulations, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations, 2020, in the Schedule, against the post of— (a) “Director (Technology)” in column (1), for the figures and brackets “9*(2020)” in the corresponding entry in column (2), the figures “10” shall be substituted; (b) “Assistant Director General (Technology) in column (1), the corresponding row and the entries in columns (1) to (7) shall be omitted; (c) “Senior Account Officer” in column (1), after the words “With five years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 8” in the corresponding entry in column (6), the following words and figure shall be inserted, namely:— “OR With six years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 7”; (d) “Accountant” in column (1), for the words “Graduate in Commerce” in the corresponding entry in column (6), the words “Graduate in Commerce OR Graduate in any stream with three years’ experience in Account related work in Government organisations” shall be substituted; and (e) “Junior Translation Officer” in column (1), after the words “With three years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 5” in the corresponding entry in column (6), the following words and figures shall be inserted, namely:— “OR With five years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 4 OR With seven years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level 3”.
