Ms. No. 43, Labour Welfare and Skill Development (M2), 10th March 2023, மாசி 26, ²ðA¼¶, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´&2054.-]- No. SRO A-15/2023.—The following draft of amendments to the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950 which it is proposed to be made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 112 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act LXIII of 1948) is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby as required by section 115 of the said Act. 2. Notice is hereby given that the draft amendments will be taken into consideration after the expiry of forty five days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and that any objection or suggestion, which may be received from any person with respect thereto, before the expiry of aforesaid period, will be considered by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Objection or suggestion, if any, should be addressed in duplicate to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, Secretariat, Fort St. George, Chennai-600 009, through the Director of Industrial Safety and Health, 47/1, Thiru.Vi.Ka. (2) in rule 6, in sub-rule (3), for the expression “ two hundred rupees”, the expression “four hundred rupees” shall be substituted; (3) in rule 8, in sub-rule (2), for the expression “ two hundred rupees”, the expression “four hundred rupees” shall be substituted; (4) in rule 10, for the expression” two hundred rupees”, the expression “four hundred rupees” shall be substituted; (5) in rule 56-B, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely:- “(2) The fee payable for the examination and testing of pressure plant or vessel or water sealed gas holder shall be as follows:- (i) `. 1600/- (Rupees) One thousand and six hundred only per plant or vessel irrespective of its size or capacity, for the external examination; (ii) `. 4000/- (Rupees) Four thousand only per plant or vessel upto 4 kgf/sq.cm(g) for Hydrostatic test; (iii) `. 8000/- (Rupees) Eight thousand only per plant or vessel above 4 kgf/sq.cm.(g) for Hydrostatic test; (iv) `. 4000/- (Rupees) Four thousand only per plant or vessel irrespective of the size or capacity, for internal examination; and (v) `. 16000/- (Rupees) Sixteen thousand only per plant or vessel irrespective of the size or capacity, for non-destructive ultrasonic thickness gauging test.”; (6) in rule 67-A, in clause (iv), in sub-clause (a), for the expression “ ` . 200/- (Rupees two hundred only)”, the expression `.400/- (Rupees) “Four hundred only” shall be substituted; (7) in rule 86-A, in sub-rule (b), for the expression “ ` 200/- (Rupees two hundred only)”, the expression. `.400/- (Rupees) “Four hundred only” shall be substituted; (8) in rule 95, in sub-rule (1-A), in clause (a), for the expression “ `. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only)”, the expression `.400/- (Rupees) “Four hundred only” shall be substituted.
