Ms. No. 143, Agriculture (AM.3) 12th June 2017, ¬õè£C 29, «ýM÷‹H, F¼õœÀõ˜ ݇´-2048.] No. SRO A-30/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 52 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1989), the Governor of Tami Nadu, hereby makes the following amendments to the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991. AMENDMENTS. In the said Rules, - (1) for rule 55, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “55. Passing of a bill - The executive authority concerned shall pass any bill for payment without the previous sanction of the Board or the market committee, as the case may be, subject to the provisions of fund in the Budget, - (a) for the payment of the salary and other allowances including travelling allowance of such establishment; (b) for repayment to the Government of any money under sub-section (3) of Section 22 of the Act or sub-section (6) of Section 37 of the Act, as the case may be; (c) for meeting other expenditures by the executive authority of the market committee upto Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees five thousand); (d) for meeting other expenditures by the executive authority of the Board upto Rs.l0,000/-(Rupees ten thousand); and (e) for payment of all rent, rate and taxes, Electricity charges, Telephone charges, Legal fees, loans and advances etc. Explanation- For the purpose of this rule, the following Table shall be the scale of expenditure to be incurred by the executive authority of the market committee or the Board, as the case may be, with the approval of the authorities specified below:- THE TABLE Market Committee Level:- Authorities Amount (Rs.)
