Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport Limited, Shamshabad - Releasing
of an amount of Rs.156.58 lakhs for reimbursement to Hyderabad Metro Water
Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) towards 50% charges on enhancing
the Water Supply for Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.
(RGHIAL) at Shamshabad – Administrative Sanction – Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:
In the references 1st and 2nd read above, the Managing Director,
Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has reported
that the Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport Limited, had applied for
enhancement of water quantity from 400 KLD to 2000 KLD to meet the
additional water requirements for new development in the Airport and that it
was resolved in the Board Meeting of HMWS&SB held on 7-10-2010 to
approve the enhancement of water quantity to 400 KLD to 2000 KLD to
RGHIAL subject to reimbursement of Rs.3,13,16,183/- to HMWS&SB by the
Department of Infrastructure & Investment, Government of A.P. and requested
to issue necessary orders accordingly. The following is the break up of the water
connection charges:
Rs.1,92,00,000.00
1. Water connection charges
(enhanced quantity = 1600 KLD x 1000 x Rs.12/-)
Connection charges for augmenting source
2. Rs.1,21,16,183.00
(based on plinth area of building existing
@ Rs.5000/- per 1000 sft for all bulk consumers)
Total
Rs.3,13,16,183.00
2. The matter has been examined by the Government and it has been decided
to reimburse an amount of Rs.1,56,58,000/- to HMWS&SB towards 50% of
charges on provisional sanction for enhancing the water supply to 2000 KLD
for RGHIAL, Shamshabad.PTO

3. The Finance Department have agreed to the proposal and issued necessary
re-appropriation orders in the G.O.3rd read above. They have also issued B.R.O.
in the G.O.4th read above.
4. As per the BRO issued by the Finance Dept., Government hereby accord
administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.1,56,58,000/- (Rupees One Crore
Fifty six lakhs and fifty eight only) for reimbursement to HMWS&SB towards
50% of charges on provisional sanction for enhancing the water supply to 2000
KLD for RGHIAL, Shamshabad.
5. The amount sanctioned in para (4) above, shall be debited to the Head of
Account “5054-COL on Roads & Bridges – 03 State Highways – MH -337
Road Works – GH –11 Normal State Plan – SH(19) Hyderabad International
Airport, 530- Major Works, 531- Other Expenditure”
6. The Assistant Secretary to Government / Drawing & Disbursing Officer,
Infrastructure & Investment Department is authorized to draw and disburse the
amount to the Managing Director, HMWS&SB by way of cheque.
7. This orders issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their
U.O.No.34225/1227/A2/Exp.PW/11, dt.24-1-2012.
