Read the following:

ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, orders were issued for implementation of rule of
reservation in selection of Anganwadi Workers/Anganwadi Helpers in state. The
rule of reservation shall be implemented taking Integrated Child Development
Scheme Project as a unit duly following the instructions issued vide reference 1st
cited.
2. In continuation of G.O 1st read above, the following clarifications are issued
for implementation of rule of reservation in selection of Anganwadi Workers/
Anganwadi Helpers:-
1) As SC/ST/BC candidates may not be available in all habitations the
roster as prescribed cannot be followed. The Child Development
Project Officers should therefore assess the sufficiency of candidates
in a project. If there is insufficiency, the eligible reserved candidates
when available in the village concerned will be selected.
2) If here are no reserved category candidates, available among eligible
applicants, the vacant posts would be filled in future with such
candidates as and when available, till sufficiency is reached.
3. All District Collectors, who are chairmen of Selection Committees are
requested to follow the clarification accordingly in selection of Anganwadi
Workers/Anganwadi Helpers in the districts.
4. The Director, Women Development and Child Welfare, Hyderabad, A.P., is
requested to take further necessary action in the matter.
