1,750 km across the National Highway (NH) network as critically affected due
to non-availability of mobile network connectivity and if so, the details thereof;
and
(b) whether any of these critically affected stretches of NHs are located in
the State of Andhra Pradesh and if so, the details thereof?

(a) The Government in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways is primarily
responsible for the development and maintenance of National Highways across
the country, whereas the issue of mobile network connectivity in India comes
under the Ministry of Communications. As per inputs received from field units,
telecommunication coverage is not available at 424 locations across the
National Highways, covering a total length of approximately 1750 km.
(b) The details of affected stretches in the State of Andhra Pradesh is enclosed
as Annexure-I.Annexure-I
