ASSESSMENT OF FARMERS' REAL INCOME IN PUNJAB
1100 SHRI SANT BALBIR SINGH:
Will the Minister of PLANNING be pleased to state:
(a) whether NITI Aayog has undertaken any assessment or evaluation of the actual increase
in real income of farmers in the State of Punjab since the announcement of the goal of
Doubling Farmers' Income;
(b) if so, the details of nominal and real income growth of farmers in the State as compared
to the national average, year-wise and category-wise; and
(c) whether the income growth achieved in Punjab is in line with the original targets and
revised benchmarks and if not, the reasons therefor?
