MALA ROY: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) whether there is any plan of the Government to take control of big sports bodies such as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), All India Football Federation (AIFF) etc. for their proper and smooth functioning, if so, the details thereof; (b) if not, the reasons therefor; and (c) whether the Government proposes to conduct Audit of the said big sports bodies in future, if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS [DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA] (a) and (b) National Sports Federations (NSFs), including the All India Football Federation (AIFF), are voluntary bodies registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 / Trusts Act / Companies Act.
