4045. SHRI SANJAY KUMAR JHA:
Will the Minister of HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) whether it is a fact that the actual ridership of the Delhi Metro is, at most, one-fourth of the projected
ridership;
(b) if so, whether such projections has led to an overestimation of the benefits (and unfair justification) of
the metro system in the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), during the planning phase; and
(c) if so, the manner in which Government plans to resolve the aforementioned concerns?
