The rise in input costs has not negated the benefits of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) increases in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. NITI Aayog has not prepared any district-specific Agriculture Export Action Plan for Jaunpur. No timeline for achieving the revised income targets is available. Will the Minister of PLANNING be pleased to state:
(a) whether NITI Aayog has evaluated the actual increase in farmers' real income in Uttar
Pradesh against the target of "Doubling Farmers' Income" by 2022 (extended) and if so,
the details thereof;
(b) the details of the growth of non-farm income for rural households in Jaunpur district;
(c) whether the rising cost of inputs (diesel, fertilizer) has negated the benefits of MSP
increases in Eastern UP and if so, the details thereof;
(d) the status of the "District Action Plans" for agriculture export prepared by NITI Aayog for
Jaunpur; and
(e) the timeline for achieving the revised income targets?
