(a) and (b) There is a separate fund for financial assistance for
recovery and reconstruction of roads damaged by floods
administered by Government in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Government in the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has made
a separate provision of funds for maintenance and repair of National
Highways (NHs), which includes repair / immediate restoration of
traffic for damages due to floods.
