IMPLEMENTATION STATUS OF NOIDA METRO AQUA LINE
3409. DR. SIKANDER KUMAR:
Will the Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs be pleased to state:
(a) the current status of the 11.56 km extension corridor from Noida Sector 142 to Botanical
Garden approved by the Union Cabinet on 13th February, 2026;
(b) the projected timeline for the commencement of construction and the targeted date for the
operationalisation of these 8 elevated stations;
(c) whether any special provisions have been made for seamless multi-modal integration at the
Botanical Garden triple-interchange hub i.e. Blue, Magenta and Aqua Lines to facilitate
commuters travelling to Delhi airport and major railway stations; and
(d) if so, the deals in this regard?

(a): Govt. of India has issued the Sanction Order for the 11.56 Km extension of metro corridor from
Noida Sector 142 to Botanical Garden (Noida) on 17.03.2026.
(b): As per the Sanction Order, the completion period of the project is 48 months from date of
sanction of project.
(c) & (d): The proposed station of the aforesaid extension of Metro Corridor i.e. Botanical Garden
has been planned for seamless connectivity with the existing Blue Line’s and Magenta Line’s
Botanical Garden stations through Foot Over Bridge.
