Will the Minister of Tribal Affairs be pleased to state:

(a) the targeted number of Multi-Purpose Centres (MPCs) under the PM-JANMAN scheme and the number of those constructed till date, year and State-wise;

(b) the funds allocated and released towards construction of MPCs and the funds utilised, year and State- wise; and

(c) whether all the constructed MPCs are equipped with basic infrastructure facilities like drinking water, electricity, furniture and toilets etc. and if so, the details thereof, State-wise and if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRIBAL AFFAIRS (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY)

(a): Under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN), there is a target of construction of 1000 multi purpose centers (MPCs). The details of number of MPCs approved and constructed, State-wise, during 2023-24 to 2025-26 is given in Annexure-I.

(b): The details of funds released and utilization certificates, year-wise and State-wise, for MPCs are given in Annexure-II.

(c): For operationalization and management of MPCs, Ministry of Tribal Affairs has issued a detailed SOP to State Governments and other stakeholders.
