(a) the details of all National Highway projects sanctioned during the
last five years, indicating the name of the project, length, estimated
cost, year of sanction and scheduled timeline for completion,
State/Union Territory-wise;
(b) the current status of implementation of each such project, State/UT-
wise, indicating whether the project is completed, under execution or
delayed along with the percentage of physical and financial progress
achieved so far;
(c) the present status of land acquisition for these projects, State/UT-
wise, including the extent of land required, land acquired to date,
compensation paid and cases pending due to disputes or litigation; and
(d) the details of fund allocation, disbursed and expenditure incurred for
ongoing National Highway projects during the said period, project-wise
and State/UT-wise?
ANSWER

(SHRI NITIN JAIRAM GADKARI)(a) and (b) The State/UT-wise details of National Highways (NHs)
projects sanctioned / awarded during the last five years are at
Annexure-I.
The State/UT-wise details of NH projects which were sanctioned /
awarded during the last five years and are currently under construction
are at Annexure-II. Of which, 587 projects have spilled beyond
scheduled completion period, without attaining project completion and
excluding projects under consideration of termination / foreclosure.
Substantial number of under construction projects are targeted to be
completed by Financial Year 2026-27 with some projects spilling beyond
that.
(c) The State/UT-wise details of land required, acquired, compensation
paid for the above NH projects and disputes / litigations in connection
with land acquisition are at Annexure-III.
(d) Allocation of funds for development of NHs are made State/Agency
wise and not project wise. The State / UT - wise details of funds
allocated and expenditure incurred towards development and
maintenance of NHs during the last five financial years are at Annexure-
