Nehru Yuva Kendras in Andhra Pradesh
3826. SHRI PUTTA MAHESH KUMAR:
Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to
state:
(a) the details of the list of Nehru Yuva Kendras (NYKs) functioning
across Andhra Pradesh, district-wise and in Eluru District;
(b) the details of initiatives proposed, sanctioned and presently
being implemented through NYKs in said State, district-wise,
including the said district;
(c) the details of the total funds allocated, released and utilised by
NYKs during the last five years and the current year along with the
number of vacancies in NYKs in Andhra Pradesh, district-wise,
including in Eluru District;
(d) the total number of beneficiaries of various initiatives
undertaken by NYKs across the said State during the said period,
district-wise including the said district; and
(e) whether the Government has conducted any proportional
campaigns to raise awareness regarding the importance of NYKs
for Indian youth, if so, the details thereof and if not, the reasons
therefor?

(a) At present, 13 Mera Yuva Bharat Kendras (erstwhile Nehru Yuva
Kendras) are functioning in the State of Andhra Pradesh, including
Page 1 of 6one Kendra in Eluru district. The list of these Kendras is placed at
Annexure-1.
(b) MY Bharat through its field offices conducts various types of
programmes such as Core Programmes, Special Programmes and
programmes in collaboration with other Ministries/Departments in
districts. The district wise details of MY Bharat programmes
sanctioned during the current FY 2025-26 in the State of Andhra
Pradesh including the Eluru District is placed at Annexure – 2.
(c) The details of total funds allocated, released and utilized by MY
Bharat (erstwhile NYKS) during the last 5 years and current year
along with the number of vacancies as on date in MY Bharat in
Andhra Pradesh, district-wise, including the Eluru District is placed
at Annexure -3.
(d) The number of beneficiaries of various MY Bharat programmes
and Schemes in the State of Andhra Pradesh including the Eluru
District for the last 5 years is placed at Annexure-4.
(e) Yes, awareness about the role and importance of MY Bharat
Kendras is raised through various youth-oriented programmes,
campaigns and outreach activities organized across the country
