CHANDRA SHEKHAR: SHRI HANUMAN BENIWAL: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the details of the funds sanctioned and utilised under the Khelo India programme in Nagina and other Lok Sabha Constituencies of Uttar Pradesh and Didwana-Kuchamn and other district of Rajasthan, item and constituency-wise; (b) whether any proposals for works under the said programme are pending for approval in Nagina, Nagaur and other Constituencies in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan; (c) if so, the details of such pending proposals, district and work-wise; (d) whether the Government proposes to expedite the approval of such pending proposals in the interest of athletes; and (e) if so, the timeline thereof and if not, the reasons therefor? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS [ DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA ] (a) Funds are allocated Scheme-wise and not item and constituency-wise under the Khelo India Scheme. The details of funds sanctioned and expenditure incurred under Khelo India Scheme, during the current year across the country, including in the State of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, are as under: Page 1 of 2(amount in ₹ crore) Financial Year Funds allocated Expenditure incurred 2025-26 700.00 695.48 (as on 28.02.2026) (b) to (e) Receipt of proposals under the Khelo India Scheme of this Ministry is a continual process. The proposals received from the State/UT Governments and other eligible entities are considered for financial support, subject to their completeness, technical feasibility, and availability of funds under the Scheme. ***** Page 2 of 2
