SHRI KODIKUNNIL SURESH Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS सड़क परिवहन औि िाजमार्ग मंत्री be pleased to state: (a) the details of National Highway (NH) projects on NH-183 and NH-183A in the Mavelikkara Lok Sabha Constituency for which financial sanction is pending, stretch-wise; (b) the year of proposal, DPR cost, stage at which financial sanction is pending and the reasons for such pendency, including land acquisition, revised cost estimates or inter-ministerial clearances; (c) the amount already committed or partially sanctioned, if any, and the balance funds required for commencement or completion of works; (d) whether the delay in financial sanction has led to cost escalation, traffic congestion or safety concerns and the assessment made in this regard; and (e) the timeline proposed for according financial sanction and initiating works on the pending stretches? Detailed Project Report (DPR) for development of NH-183 to 4-lane configuration and development of the stretch from Kundara toAnjilimoodu is being taken up. DPR for development of Anjilimoodu- Kumily stretch of NH-183 would be prepared by NHAI. For NH- 183A, DPR preparation for development to 4-lane configuration has been awarded. Requirement of funds would be determined after finalization and approval of DPRs. The projects are presently at DPR stage and further action including consideration for sanction would be taken as per extant appraisal and approval procedures including availability of land and other clearances.
