SHRI DEVESH SHAKYA: Will the Minister of YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS be pleased to state: (a) the works undertaken in the form of sports infrastructure development Khelo India Centres Multi-purpose halls, athletic tracks and training facilities in Etah, Kasganj and Kannauj districts of Uttar Pradesh under the Khelo India Scheme during the last three years and the current year, year-wise; (b) the details of the number of players selected under Khelo India in the said districts and the sports disciplines in which they are being provided training/scholarship/coaching facilities and the results achieved so far; (c) whether new Khelo India Centres, State Centres of Excellence or additional sports projects are proposed in Etah, Kasganj, Mainpuri and Kannauj districts in the year 2025-26 and if so, the details thereof; and (d) whether the Government proposes any special action plan to develop the said districts as a regional sports development cluster and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS [ DR. MANSUKH MANDAVIYA ] (a) and (b) The details of all sports facilities under the Khelo India Scheme, such as Sports Infrastructure, Khelo India Centres (KIC), Khelo India State Centres of Excellence (KISCE) and Khelo India Accredited Academies (KIAA), and Khelo India Athletes (KIAs) identified, across the country, including in Etah, Kasganj and Kannauj districts of Uttar Page 1 of 2Pradesh, are available in the public domain on the dashboard of the Ministry at https://dashboard.kheloindia.gov.in. (c) The Khelo India Scheme is a demand-driven scheme. The proposals received from the State/UT Governments and other eligible entities are considered for financial support, subject to their completeness, technical feasibility and availability of funds under the Scheme. At least one Khelo India Centre (KIC) has been notified in each district of Uttar Pradesh under the Khelo India Scheme, thereby covering all districts as per the scheme's provision of one centre per district.
