These companies have committed to an investment of ₹4,824 crore under the scheme. One company has commissioned its project. (a) the details and the total number of Steel companies in Gujarat that have applied for
or benefited from the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Specialty Steel;
(b) the status of implementation of these PLI projects including investment mobilized
and projects operational so far; and
(c) the expected employment generation from these projects and the measures taken
to ensure skill development and employment opportunities for local youth particularly
in industrial clusters like Vapi?
