This document summarizes the status of Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) funds for Haryana State's 17th Lok Sabha, as of July 23, 2025. According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, all MPLADS funds have been released to Members of Parliament (MPs) from all Lok Sabha Constituencies of Haryana, with the exception of Ambala.
Specifically, while the entitled amount for each of the following constituencies—Rohtak, Faridabad, Karnal, Hisar, Gurgaon, Kurukshetra, Sonipat, Sirsa (SC), and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh—was ₹17.00 crore, the released amount was also ₹17.00 crore for each.
For Ambala (SC), out of an entitlement of ₹12.00 crore, ₹7.00 crore was released, leaving a pending amount of ₹5.00 crore. The non-release of the ₹5.00 crore for the year 2022-23 was due to the non-submission of required documentation from the Nodal District, in accordance with MPLADS guidelines. The MP representing Ambala in the 17th Lok Sabha passed away on May 18, 2023, and the entitlement for the year 2023-24 is not applicable, as per Para 10.4.3 of MPLADS Guidelines.
The process for transferring uncommitted balances to the account of the sitting MP of the 18th Lok Sabha on the eSAKSHI portal is governed by para 10.5.1 of the MPLADS guidelines and is contingent upon the submission of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned Nodal District Authority.
