WIDENING OF NH-11 ROAD FROM JHUNJHUNU TO FATEHPUR

Will the Minister of ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS

be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to convert the existing two-
lane stretch of National Highway (NH)-11 from Jhunjhunu to
Fatehpur into a four-lane road, if so, the details thereof and if not,
the reasons therefor;
(b) whether a Detailed Project Report has been prepared for four-
laning of the said stretch and if so, the time by which the
construction work is likely to commence; and
(c) the details of the action proposed by the Government along
with the efforts being made in this regard?

‘WIDENING OF NH-11 ROAD FROM JHUNJHUNU TO FATEHPUR’
(a) to (c) The process for preparation of Detailed Project Report
(DPR) for development of NH-11 from Jhunjhunu to Fatehpur to four-
lanes has been initiated in January, 2026. Based on the outcome of
the DPR, this stretch would be considered for upgradation to four-
lanes subject to traffic requirements and synergy with PM Gati
Shakti National Master Plan (NMP).
