ORDER :-
Whereas, the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad in
the reference 1st read above has imposed punishment of reduction by (2) stages in
the time scale of pay on Sri A. Veeraiah, formerly Superintendent, O/o Deputy
Director (Social Welfare), Nalgonda under rule 9 (vii) of APCS (CC&A) Rules, 1991
for the charges framed against him.
2. Aggrieved that Sri A. Veeraiah, Superintendent, has filed O.A.No.3106/2008
in the Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal. The Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh
Administrative Tribunal in its order dated 21-08-2009 vide reference 2nd read
above, set aside the Proceedings of the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Andhra
Pradesh, Hyderabad. In the meantime, the individual retired from service on
30.06.2008 on attaining the age of superannuation of 58 years.
3. Whereas, Sri A. Veeraiah, Superintendent (Retired) in the reference 3rd read
above has submitted his representation to Government to implement the Judgment
of Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal dated 21-08-2009 and regularize
his suspension period from 18-10-2005 to 12-09-2006 and also consider his
promotion to the post of District Social Welfare Officer notionally on par with his
juniors. The Commissioner of Social Welfare in his letter 4th read above has
requested the Government to issue necessary orders on the appeal petition
submitted by Sri A. Veeraiah, Superintendent (Retired) and regularize the
suspension period.
4. Government after careful examination of the matter in detail, and after
examination of the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal order dated 21-08-
2009, hereby regularize the suspension period of Sri A. Veeraiah, Superintendent
(Retired) from 18-10-2005 to 12-09-2006 and also consider for his promotion as
District Social Welfare Officer notionally as per rules in force.
5. The Commissioner of Social Welfare, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is directed
to take action accordingly and send compliance report to Government.
