O R D E R:
Whereas, an inquiry under Rule 20 and 24 of the Andhra
Pradesh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1991 is being
held against the three (3) Charged Officers, Viz., (i) Sri N.Dasaratharami
Reddy, former Executive Director, District Scheduled Castes Service
Cooperative Society Limited, Machilipatnam, Krishna District (retired as
Additional Director O/o Commissioner of Social Welfare, AP, Hyderabad, (ii)
Sri M.Durga Rao, Senior Assistant, and (iii) Sri M.A.Jayaraju, Agricultural
Officer, O/o ED, DSCSCS Ltd., Machilipatnam, Krishna District.
2. And whereas, Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner
of Inquires, General Administration Department was appointed as Inquiring
Authority to inquire into the charges framed against the said three (3)
charged officers, vide reference first read above.
3. And whereas Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of
Inquires, General Administration Department retired from service on
attaining the age of superannuation on 31-12-2011. Hence, it is necessary
to appoint another officer as inquiring Authority to inquire into the charges
framed against the said three charged officers.
4. Now, therefore, the Government in exercise of the powers conferred
under sub-rule (2) read with sub rule (17) of rule 20 of the A.P. Civil Services
(CC&A) Rules, 1991, hereby appoint Sri Jitender, IPS, Commissioner of
Inquires, General Administration (COI-J) Department, as Inquiring Authority,
in place of Dr.Subhrendu Bhattacharya, IAS, Commissioner of Inquires,
General Administration Department to inquire into the charges framed
against the said three (3) Charged Officers.
5. The Inquiring Authority is requested to complete the inquiry and
submit his report to Government, at an early date.
