ABSTRACT
Planning Department - Evaluation Studies–“Administrative sanction accorded for an
amount of Rs.21.51 lakhs and releasing an amount of Rs.5.77 lakhs as Final
installment to The Institute of Health Systems (I H S), Hyd, to conduct the study on
“The Vital Statistics System in Andhra Pradesh and its Contribution towards Monitoring
and Evaluation of NRHM Goals” with the funds available under, “Strengthening of
Monitoring Review and Evaluation”– Orders- Issued.

ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, Government have accorded administrative
sanction to conduct an evaluation study on “The Vital Statistics System in Andhra
Pradesh and its Contribution towards Monitoring and Evaluation of NRHM Goals” for an
amount of Rs.21.51 lakhs and released an amount of Rs.9.98 lakhs as 1st installment
and an amount of Rs.5.76 lakhs has been released as 2nd installment vide reference
2nd cited. Thus a total amount of Rs.15.74 lakhs has been released for the above
study so far to the Director, I HS, Hyderabad.
2. In the reference 4th read above the Director IHS has submitted the draft final
report and action plan for implementation of recommendation was submitted for the
study and requested to release the balance amount of Rs.5.77 lakhs.
3. After careful examination of the final report submitted by the Director, IHS and
action Plan to implement the report Government decided to release the balance amount
of Rs.5.77 lakhs. Therefore, Government hereby accorded sanction and released an
amount of Rs.5.77 lakhs (Rupees Five lakhs Seventy Seven Thousand only) towards
final installment to the Director, IHS, Hyderabad for having submitted the report on
“The Vital Statistics System in Andhra Pradesh and its Contribution towards Monitoring
and Evaluation of NRHM Goals”

4. In persuasion of the BRO issued vide reference 3rd read above, the amount of
Rs.5.77 lakhs (Rupees Five lakhs Seventy Seven Thousand only) released in para 3
above, shall be debited to the following head of account, under “Strengthening
Monitoring Review and Evaluation” Scheme.

5. The Assistant Secretary to the Government, Planning (Claims) Department shall
draw and disburse the amount sanctioned above by means of a crossed cheque in
favour of Director Institute of Health Systems, Hyderabad duly deducting the tax as per
the rules in vogue.
6. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Hyderabad is requested to issue
necessary authorization to Deputy Pay and Accounts Officer, Secretariat Branch,
Hyderabad for the amount sanctioned above.
7. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Dept as per the orders in
force.
