NOTIFICATION Whereas, through a Notification issued vide G.O.Ms.No.29, Women Development and Child Welfare Department, (ICDS) Department, Dt:28/05/1996, the Government have declared the services of employees of M/s. Andhra Pradesh Foods, Industrial Development Area, Nacharam, Hyderabad as “Essential Services” under item (VI) of Clause (a) of subsection(1) of section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971). 2. And, whereas the Government are satisfied that in public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in the said Essential service. 3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under subsection(1) of section 3 of Andhra Pradesh Essential Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, hereby prohibit strikes in the Andhra Pradesh Foods, IDA, Nacharam, Hyderabad for a period of six months with immediate effect.
