From Kilburn Office Automation letter dated nil. 6. Govt. Letter No.1620/Plg.OP.II/2012-4, dated 16.03.2012. 7. From Kilburn Office Automation letter dated Xxx In the reference 1st and 2nd read above the Post Master General, A.P. Circle Hyderabad has informed that the Govt. of India have discontinued Printing and Supply of Service Postage Stamps with effect from 1.1.2002. Therefore, the dispatches of letters etc. are being in operation through Franking Machine in other Department. Keeping in view the above information, this Department have purchased the Franking Machine in the reference 3rd read above. Now the said machine is not functioning as the time elapsed. Now it is proposed to purchase a New Franking Machine. Accordingly, quotations have been called for from the three organizations and the Quotation submitted by the Kilburn Office Automation in the letter 5th read above has been accepted, which the lowest quotation. 2. Sanction is hereby accorded for incurring an expenditure of Rs.1,29,027/- (Rupees one lakhs twenty nine thousand and twenty seven only ) towards purchase of Franking Machine Model DM 140i from Kilburn Office Automation, Secunderabad. The amount sanctioned above includes the license fee and initial loading of service stamps. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in para (2) above shall be debited to the Head of Account 2052 – Secretariat General Services – M.H.(090) Secretariat – S.H. (07) Planning Department - 130 Office Expenses – 132 Other Office Expenses 4. The stock received in good condition and necessary entries have been made in the stock register of this Department. 5. The Assistant Secretary to Government, Planning (Claims) Department and Drawing and Disbursing Officer shall draw a cheque in favour of Kilburn Office Automation, Secunderabad for the amount sanctioned in para (2) above. 6. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department as per the orders on the subject.
