O R D E R:-
The Member (APPCC) & Director (Fin & Rev), APTRANSCO, Hyderabad in the letter
13th read above has requested the Government to release the amount of Rs.350.83 Crores
towards tariff subsidy for the month of March, 2012.
2. Accordingly, the Finance (PF.I) Department have issued BRO for an amount of
Rs.328,33,68,000/- towards Power subsidy for the month of March, 2012 subject to
recovery of Plough back dues of Rs.113.78 crores including the interest/commitment
charges in respect of Krishnapatnam Power Project vide G.O. 14th read above.
3. In terms of orders issued in G.O. 14th read above, Government hereby accord
administrative sanction for an amount of Rs.328,33,68,000/- (Rupees Three hundred
twenty eight crores thirty three lakhs sixty eight only) towards tariff subsidy for the month
of March, 2012 for the year 2011-12 to APTRANSCO in favour of Andhra Pradesh Power
Distribution Company’s pool account subject to recovery of Plough Back dues of Rs.113.78
Crores including the interest/commitment charges in respect of Krishnapatnam Power
Project.
4. The expenditure sanctioned at para (3) above, shall be debited to the head of account
"2801.Power-05.Transmission and Distribution - MH.800. Other Expenditure-SH (06).
Assistance to Transmission Corporation of A.P. Limited for Agricultural and allied Subsidy -
310.Grants-in-aid - 312. Other Grants-in-aid”.
5. The Assistant Secretary to Government, Energy Department shall draw and disburse
the amount by way of cheque in favour of “Andhra Pradesh Power Distribution Company’s
pool account”.

6. The Member (APPCC) & Director (Fin & Rev), APTRANSCO, shall remit the Plough
Back dues of Rs.113.78 Crores including the interest/commitment charges in respect of
Krishnapatnam Power Project into Govt., A/c through challan and also submit the Utilization
Certificate for the amount sanctioned in para (3) above.
