ORDER:
In the letter 1st read above, the Commissioner, Women Development & Child
Welfare, Hyderabad had reported that in the audit reports received from the Regional
Deputy Director, Hyderabad certain shortage of food commodities were noticed i.e. Rice,
Zeera, Greengram, Dal, Wheat Ravva, Oil, Jaggery, Dry Chillies, Pepper etc., from the
audit reports pertaining to the (6) ICDS Projects i.e. Jadcherla, Kodangal, Atmakur,
Makthal, Manopad and Mahabubnagar and disciplinary proceedings were initiated by
framing charges against the responsible persons.
2. While reporting same to the above effect, the Commissioner, Women Development
& Child Welfare, Hyderabad stated that Smt.Vijaya, Child Development Project Officer, had
retired from service and requested the Government to take action under Rule 9 of Andhra
Pradesh Revised Pension Rules, 1980.
3. In the letter 2nd read above, the Director, Women Development & Child Welfare,
Hyderabad has informed that the Regional Deputy Director, Hyderabad had reported that it
was observed that Smt.M.Vijaya, In-charge CDPO (Retd), Jedcherla, received 125 Kgs. of
Zeera and 125 Kgs. of Pepper and the same were distributed to the Supervisors and the
stock was also verified by Mandal Revenue Officer, Jedcherla on 05.08.2004, and
confirmed that Smt.M.Vijaya, I/c CDPO (Retd) received only 125 Kgs. of Zeera and 125
Kgs. of Pepper as against 127.5 Kgs. of each mentioned in the charge framed against her
in this regard and requested to drop further action against Smt.M.Vijaya, I/c CDPO (Retd),
Jedcherla.
4. After careful examination of the above, Government hereby decide to drop further
action against Smt.M.Vijaya, CDPO (Retd) in this disciplinary case.
5. Accordingly, further action pertaining to the charges framed in the Charge Memo.
No.6785/Vig-2/2004-14, Dt.29.11.2010 issued by the Director, Women Development &
Child Welfare, Hyderabad, against Smt.M.Vijaya, CDPO (Retd.) is hereby dropped.
