(1) These regulations may be called the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2014. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Schedule to the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority & Promotion) Regulations, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal regulations), the existing criteria prescribed in para-1 (a) of the Col. 8 for the post of Dy. Manager (Tech) for Direct recruitment: “through campus recruitment from the candidates studying Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) / National Institutes of Technology (NITs)” is hereby substituted with the following: “from amongst the candidates, who have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) based on their scores therein duly authenticated by the organizing IIT” SATISH CHANDRA, Member (Finance) [ADVT.
