The National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Third Amendment
Regulations, 2016
No.11012/248/2015-Admn.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35, read with section 9,
of the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988 (68 of 1988), the National Highways Authority of
India hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the National Highways Authority of India
(Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 1996, namely: -
1. Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the National Highways
Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Third Amendment Regulations,
2016.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In regulation 5 of the principal regulations, after sub-regulation (1), the following clause shall be
inserted, namely:—
“Provided further that Chairman may interchange or re-designate the CGM level posts as per
requirement without changing the total sanctioned strength of 39 CGM level posts.”
