Short title and commencement.—(1) These regulations may be called the National Highways Authority of India (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Third Amendment Regulations, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In regulation 5 of the principal regulations, after sub-regulation (1), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:— “Provided further that Chairman may interchange or re-designate the CGM level posts as per requirement without changing the total sanctioned strength of 39 CGM level posts.” VEENA ISH, Member (Administration) [ADVT.-III/4/Exty./269/16(122)] Foot note: The principal regulations were published vide notification No.NHAR-12011/1/95-Admn., dated 11th March, 1996, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, dated the 11th March, 1996 and last amended vide notification No.NHAI/11011/19/2014-HR.I dated 16.05.2016 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III – Section 4, dated the 16.05.2016.
