What it means

  • This notification prohibits certain classes of vehicles from using the Sangaria-Santalpur section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor (NH-754A) for safety reasons, as it is a high-speed corridor.

Key Changes

  • The notification prohibits the following vehicles from using the Sangaria-Santalpur section (km 206.867 to km 968.865) of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor (NH-754A):

  • Three-wheelers (including e-carts and e-rickshaws)
  • Non-motorized vehicles

  • The restricted section of NH-754A spans from its junction with NH-54 near Chautala village in Haryana, connecting Hanumangarh, Suratgarh, Lunkaransar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Thob, Pachpadra, Balotra, Sanchore in Rajasthan, and Tharad, Vav, terminating at its junction with NH-27 near Santalpur in Gujarat.
