The 33rd Raising Day of Group Centre, CRPF, Pune, originally raised on 7th April
1994, was celebrated today with great enthusiasm, pride, and solemnity.
The celebrations commenced in the morning with Officers and personnel assembling
at the Martyrs’ Memorial, where floral tributes were paid to the bravehearts who
made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. The ceremony was attended by Shri
Vaibhav Nimbalkar,IPS DIG, GC Pune, and Shri K.K. Chand, Commandant, along
with other officers and personnel.Following the tribute ceremony, a Special Sainik Sammelan was organized, wherein
Shri Vaibhav Nimbalkar congratulated all Officers and personnel on the occasion. In
his address, he highlighted the glorious legacy of Group Centre, Pune, stating that it
has consistently been recognized for its best practices and has earned numerous
trophies and accolades as one of the finest Group Centres in the Force. He
expressed confidence that with continued dedication, discipline, and teamwork, the
Group Centre will once again achieve the distinction of being the best in the future.
On the occasion, Commendation Certificates were distributed to selected Officers
and personnel in recognition of their exemplary service. Notably, Sub-Inspector
Kusum Tayde was also presented a Commendation Certificate awarded by the Chief
Minister of Uttar Pradesh for her commendable services during the Mahakumbh held
at Allahabad in 2025.
To mark the celebratory spirit of the Raising Day, a volleyball match was organized
in the evening, fostering sportsmanship and camaraderie among the personnel.
