Short title and commencement.–– (1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Home Affairs, Narcotics Control Bureau (Junior Intelligence Officer) Group ‘B’ post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Ministry of Home Affairs, Narcotics Control Bureau (Junior Intelligence Officer) Group ‘B’ post Recruitment Rules 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the said Rules),-- (i) in the opening paragraph, for the words “Junior Intelligence Officer”, the words “Sub-Inspector” shall be substituted; (ii) in rule1, in sub-rule(1), for the brackets and words “(Junior Intelligence Officer)”, the brackets and words “(Sub-Inspector)” shall be substituted; (iii) in the schedule,-- (a) in column(1), for the words “Junior Intelligence Officer’, the words “Sub-Inspector” shall be substituted; (b) in column(2), for the figures and brackets “195*(2022)”, the figures and brackets “295*(2023)” shall be substituted.
