(1) These rules may be called the Border Security Force, General Duty Cadre (Non-Gazetted) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Border Security Force, General Duty Cadre (Non-Gazetted), Recruitment Rules, 2015, in the Schedule, against serial number 5, relating to the post Constable,- (a) in column (7), for item (iv) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: -[भाग II—खण् ड 3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 “(iv) ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from written examination, physical standard test and physical efficiency test.”; (b) in the entries under column 10,- (i) in Note-1, after the words “for ex-Agniveers”, the following words shall be inserted, namely :- “or as per the instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs from time to time”; (ii) in Note-2, after the words “in the first stage”, the following words shall be inserted, namely:- “or as per the instructions issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs from time to time”; (iii) After Note-3, the following Note shall be inserted, namely: - “Note : 4 The provisions of reservation shall also apply in the case of ex-Agniveers.” [F.
