No.TAMP/23/2013/MBPT.—This Authority had passed an Order dated 2 January 2015, notifying the Scale of
Rates in case No. TAMP/23/2013/MBPT relating to the proposal received from the Mumbai Port Trust (MBPT) for
general revision of its Scale of Rates (SOR). This Order was notified in the Gazette of India Extraordinary (Part III
Section 4) on 19 January 2015 vide Gazette No. 19.
2. Thereafter, based on the request made by the MBPT, this Authority vide its Order dated 13 February 2015 has
passed a Corrigendum rectifying some errors pointed out by the MBPT in the notified Scale of Rates. The Corrigendum
has been notified in the Gazette of India on 04 March 2015 vide G. No. 73.
3. Now, on being pointed out by MBPT, it is seen that though this Authority vide its Order no. TAMP/23/2013-
MBPT dated 2 January 2015 had taken a decision to effect an across the board increase of 23% in the Cargo related
charges, inadvertently, the rates of Stevedoring (Section 2.18) and Chipping & Painting (Section 2.20) under Chapter – II
of the MBPT Scale of Rates were not revised by applying 23% increase over the then existing rates. Therefore, the table
of Stevedoring charges (Section 2.18) and Chipping & Painting charges (Section 2.20) under Chapter – II of the MBPT
Scale of Rates shall be substituted with the following:
