The Martyrdom Day of HC/RO Amle Sopan, who made the supreme sacrifice during
the Tadmetla massacre on 06 April 2010, was observed with deep respect and
solemnity at his native village Wadala Wadali, District Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The
ceremony witnessed the presence of family members, local villagers, and
representatives from the civil administration.
Shri Vaibhav Nimbalkar, IPS, Deputy Inspector General, Group Centre, CRPF Pune,
paid heartfelt floral tributes to the brave soldier and honored his indomitable
courage and sacrifice in the line of duty.During his visit, Shri Nimbalkar also met the families (Veer Pariwar) of CT/GD
Laxman Patil and CT/GD Hemant Joshi at Chalisgaon, District Jalgaon. He paid floral
tributes and interacted with the family members, patiently listening to their welfare-
related issues and grievances. He assured them of all possible assistance and
reaffirmed the Force’s unwavering commitment to their well-being.
