New Delhi, the 12th August, 2025
S.O. 3673(E).— In pursuance of clause (1) of article 239 of the Constitution, the President hereby
directs that the Administrator (Lieutenant Governor) of the Union territory of Puducherry shall, subject to
the control of the President and until further orders, exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the
State Government under sub-section (4) of section 15 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and
Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) within the said Union territory.
