Ms. No. 98, Environment, Climate Change and Forests [FR.2 (i)], 19th June 2025, ஆனி 5, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-33/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Forest Subordinate Service (Section 12 of Part Ill-B in Volume Ill of the Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 2016). 2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force With effect on and from the 23rd March 2017. Amendments In the said Special Rules; (1) in rule 2-A, under the heading, "Appointment as Forest Watcher", for the expression, "Plot Watchers or the Scheduled Tribes engaged as Anti-Poaching Watchers" the expression, "Plot Watchers, Supernumerary Anti-Poaching Watchers, and the Scheduled Tribes engaged as Anti-Poaching Watchers", shall be substituted; (2) in rule 5, in the table under the heading, "CLASS-I’,’ in column (3) under the heading "Qualifications", (a) against the category "Forest Guard" in column (1) and the method "Promotion of Forest Watcher or Forest Watcher Grade-Il" in column (2) thereof, for the proviso to item (ii), the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:- "Provided that this qualification shall not be applicable to the Malis, who were appointed from among the Social Forestry Workers and Plot Watchers and to the Forest Watchers, who were appointed from among the Social Forestry Workers, Plot Watchers, Supernumerary Anti-Poaching Watchers and Scheduled Tribes engaged as Anti-Poaching Watchers in Forest Department"; and (b) against the category "Forest Watcher" in column (1) and the method "Direct Recruitment" in column (2) thereof, for the proviso to item (i), the following proviso shall be substituted, namely "Provided that the persons in the State Level Seniority List of Social Forestry Workers and Plot Watchers and the Scheduled Tribes engaged as Anti-Poaching Watchers and the Supernumerary Anti-Poaching Watchers in Forest Department with ability to read and write in Tamil shall be eligible for appointment as Forest Watcher". Ms. No. 180, Health and Family Welfare (C2), 17th June 2025, ஆனி 3, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-35/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rules published with the Health and Family Welfare Department Notification S.R.O No.B12/89, at page 8 of part Ill—Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 25th January 1989. 2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on 01.09.2022. Amendment In the said Rules, in rule 5, in clause (b), to sub-clause(ii) the following proviso shall be inserted namely:- "Provided that the persons with Diploma or Degree in Optometry conducted by a Government Medical College or any other institution recognized by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research and not passed the three months condensed Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistant Course shall also be eligible for selection to the said post subject to the condition that they should pass the said course at their own cost for appointment to the said post." Ms. No. 305, Health and Family Welfare (C2), 2nd July 2025, ஆனி 18, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO B-36/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Medical Subordinate Services (Section 21 in Volume Ill of Tamil Nadu Service Manual, 2016) Amendments In the said Rules, in Part-Il, under "Branch V - Miscellaneous", in ANNEXURE, in the tabuIar column, under the heading "Qualification" in column (2) against the entries "Category 13B Nursing Assistant, Grade-Il" in column (1) thereof, (i) in item (i), for the expression "26 years", the expression "32 years" shall be substituted; (ii) for the entries in item (ii), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- "Must possess the Secondary School Leaving Certificate from recognized school"; and (iii) in item (iii), second proviso shall be omitted.
