Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Border Security Force, General Duty Cadre (Non-Gazetted) (Amendment) Recruitment Rules, 2023. (2)They shall come into Force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Border Security Force, General Duty Cadre (Non-Gazetted) Recruitment Rules, 2015, in the Schedule, against serial number 5 relating to the post of Constable,- (i) in Column (6),- in the entry, after the end the following Notes shall be inserted, namely :- “Note 1: The upper age- limit shall be relaxable upto five years for the candidates of the first batch of Ex-Agniveers. Note 2: The upper age-limit shall be relaxable upto three years for the candidates of Ex-Agniveers.”; (ii) in Column (7),- after clause(ii), the following Note shall be inserted, namely:- “Note: Ex- Agniveers shall be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test”.; (iii) in Column (10),Note shall be numbered as Note1 thereof and after Note 1 as so numbered, the following Note shall be inserted, namely:- “Note 2:- Ten percent of the vacancies shall be reserved for Ex-Agniveers”.
