The notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs appoints several advocates as Special Public Prosecutors to handle cases on behalf of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in various High Courts and NIA Special Courts across India.

The term of appointment for 2 advocates is until the completion of trial of the case and related matters.
The appointments are effective from the date of publication of the notification, April 5, 2024.

S.O. 1631(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 24 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), the Central Government hereby appoints the following Advocates as Special Public
Prosecutors for conducting the matters on behalf of the National Investigation Agency related to NIA cases before the
Hon’ble Courts as indicated against their name in table 1 & 2 below, for the period as mentioned against their name
