The 18th tranche of the Rozgar Mela was organised with great enthusiasm at Group Centre, Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Pune, on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
The event was graced by Shri Murlidhar Mohol, Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Pune and Hon’ble
Minister of State for Cooperation and Civil Aviation, Government of India, as the Chief Guest.
On the occasion, it was highlighted that under this nationwide programme, organised through the Ministry
of Home Affairs, appointment letters are being issued to more than 61,000 newly recruited youth at 45
selected locations across the country. At Group Centre, CRPF, Pune, appointment letters were distributed
to 300 selected candidates of CRPF, BSF, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank ofIndia, EPFO and IIGM. These newly appointed youth, selected from various parts of the country, will join
different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and contribute towards strengthening
governance and public service delivery.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the distribution of appointment letters
and addressed the newly appointed candidates. In his address, the Prime Minister stated that these
appointment letters are not merely job offers but an invitation to actively participate in the journey towards
Viksit Bharat @2047. He emphasised that Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) being signed with various
countries will open up greater opportunities for the youth. He further highlighted that reforms such as GST
2.0, income tax rebates, the Make in India initiative, and the growing trust of the global community in
India have significantly strengthened the nation’s economy. He called upon all to make collective efforts
for the progress and development of the country.
In his address, the Chief Guest Shri Murlidhar Mohol stated that the entire nation is committed to realising
the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat. He highlighted that through initiatives such as Skill
Development, Mudra Yojana, Start-up India and several other pro-youth measures, the Government has
enabled the creation of crores of employment opportunities through self-employment. He further
emphasised that significantly more employment opportunities have been generated during the present
period, reflecting the Government’s strong focus on inclusive growth and economic empowerment.Earlier, Shri Vaibhav Nimbalkar, IPS, DIG, GC CRPF Pune, formally welcomed the Chief Guest and
felicitated him. In his address, Shri Nimbalkar highlighted the significance of the Rozgar Mela as a
transformative initiative aimed at nation-building through transparent and merit-based recruitment. He
stated that Group Centre, CRPF, Pune, is fully committed to organising such national-level programmes as
a responsible organiser and ensuring that these are conducted in a dignified, disciplined and well-
coordinated manner. He also encouraged the newly appointed candidates to uphold the highest standards
of integrity, discipline and dedication while serving the nation with pride.
The newly appointed candidates expressed their gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
