1. (i) अिध(cid:28)माणन (आदेश एवं अ- य िलखत) िनयम, 2002 म; उपयु=(cid:31)त संशोधन को अिध(cid:28)माणन (आदशे एवं
अ- य िलखत) िनयम, 2018 कहा जाएगा।
(ii) ये सरकारी राजप> म; इनके (cid:28)काशन क@ तारीख से (cid:28)वृ(cid:29)त ह!गे।
2. अिध(cid:28)माणन (आदेश एवं अ- य िलखत) िनयम, 2002 के िनयम 2 म; एक नई धारा (49) जोड़ी जाए िजस े
िन6न ानुसार पढ़ा जाए :—

S.O. 3837(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 77 of the Constitution of
India, the President of India is pleased to further amend the Authentication (Orders and other Instruments)
Rules, 2002, [amended on January 18, 2006 vide Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment
Rules, 2005 and on August 25, 2006 vide Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment Rules,
2006 and on September 9, 2009 vide Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment Rules, 2009
and on August 2, 2010 vide Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment Rules, 2010 and on
November 7, 2014 vide Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment Rules, 2014], namely : -
1. (i) The above amendment to the Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Rules, 2002 may be
called the Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Amendment Rules, 2018.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In rule 2 of the Authentication (Orders and other Instruments) Rules, 2002, a New Section (49) may
be inserted to read as:—
“(49) In the case of orders and other instruments relating to the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways limited to the execution of mutations/conveyance deeds in respect of land acquired for the
National Highways in the name of the President of India through the Ministry of Road Transport and
Highways by the concerned Project Director or Regional Officer of the National Highways Authority
of India (NHAI)/ National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL)
and by the Regional Officer or other officer of the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer and above
posted in the offices of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in cases where the projects are
executed through the State Public Works Departments (PWDs).”
