New Delhi, the 20th July, 2017
S.O. 2329(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of sub-section (4) of Section 293 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), the Central Government thereby specifies the following
Government scientific experts, for the purposes of the said saction, namely :—
(i) the Director or a Scientist, or the Nodal Officer, Wildlife, Forensic and Conservation Genetics
Cell, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun;
(ii) the Director, Zoological Survey of India, Kolkata;
(iii) the Director or Scientist-in-charge, Pharmacognosy Laboratory, Botanical Survey of India,
Kolkata;
