NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th July, 2017
G.S.R. 934(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub- section (2) of Section
141 of the Border Security Force Act, 1968 (47 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following
rules to amend the Border Security Force, Combatised Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable
(Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2013 namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Border Security Force, Combatised Assistant Sub-Inspector
(Stenographer) and Head Constable (Ministerial) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Border Security Force, Combatised Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable
(Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2013, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall
be substituted, namely:-
“2. Number of post, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of said post, its Classification
and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed
to these rules.”.
3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-
(a) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer),
in column (4)
(i) For heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level in the pay matrix.”;
(ii) For the existing entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level-5 (Rs.29200 – 92300/-),”;
(b) against serial number 2 relating to the post of Head Constable (Ministerial), in column
(4), the existing entry, following entry shall be substituted, namely:-
“Level-4 (Rs.25500 – 81100/-),”.
