(1) These rules may be called the Border Security Force, (Combatised Ministerial Cadre), Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Posts, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.¹Hkkx IIμ[k.M 3 (i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 2. In the Border Security Force Combatised Ministerial Cadre, Group ‘A’, Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts, Recruitment Rules, 2011,— (a) in rule 3, for the words “ Pay Band and Grade Pay/Pay Scale” at both the places, the words “level in the pay matrix” shall be substituted; (b) in the Schedule,— (i) against serial number 1 relating to the post of Assistant Commandant (Ministerial),— (A) for column (4) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :— “Level in the pay matrix (4) Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500)”; (B) column 6 and the entries relating thereto, shall be omitted and columns 7 to 14 shall be renumbered as columns 6 to 13 respectively; (C) in column (11) as so renumbered, under heading “Promotion”, Note 2 shall be omitted; (ii) against serial number 2, relating to the post of Inspector (Ministerial) ,— (A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:— “Level – 7 (Rs.44900-142400)”; (B) in column (11) as so renumbered, under heading “Promotion”, Note 2 shall be omitted ; (iii) against serial number 3 relating to the post of Sub-Inspector (Ministerial),— (A) for the entries under column 4, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:— “Level – 6 (Rs. 35400-112400)”; (B) in column (11) as so renumbered, under heading “Promotion”, Note 2 shall be omitted; (iv) against serial number 4 relating to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Ministerial),— (A) for the entries under column (4), the following entries shall be substituted, namely:— “Level – 5 (Rs. 29200-92300)”; (B) in column (11), as so renumbered,— (I) under heading “Promotion”, Note 2 shall be omitted; (II) under heading “Deputation”,— (i) in item (ii), for the words and figures “PB-1/Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-", the words and figures “Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25500-81100/-)” shall be substituted; (ii) Note-3 shall be omitted.
