October, 2017 G.S.R. 1315(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub-section (2) of section 141 of the Border Security Force Act, 1968 (47 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Border Security Force, Air Wing, Non-Gazetted (Combatised), Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts, Recruitment Rules, 2012, namely: —II (i) 5 1. (1) These rules may be called the Border Security Force, Air Wing, Non-Gazetted (Combatised), Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts, Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2017. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Border Security Force, Air Wing, Non-Gazetted (Combatised), Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts, Recruitment Rules, 2012, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "3. Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of posts, their classification and the level in the pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in column (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.". 3. (i) against serial number 9 relating to the post of Senior Flight Gunner (lnspector),- (A) in column (4), for the existing entry, following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400/-)."; (B) in column (11),- (I) under sub-heading "Promotion",- (i) for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300-34800) plus grade pay of Rs. 4200", the words, figures and letters "level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs. 35400-112400/-)" shall be substituted; (ii) Note 2 shall be omitted; (II) under sub-heading "Deputation /absorption",- (i) in item(a), in sub-item (ii), for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-2 (Rs. 9300- 34800) plus grade pay of Rs. 4200", the words, figures and letters "level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.3 5400-112400/-)" shall be substituted; (ii) Note 3 shall be omitted. (j) against serial number 10 relating to the post of Junior Flight Gunner (Sub-Inspector),- (A) in column (4), for the existing entry, following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400/-)."; (B) in column (11),under sub-heading "Deputation/absorption",- (i) in item(a), in sub-item (ii), for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200- 20200) plus grade pay of Rs. 2800", the words, figures and letters "level-S in the pay matrix (Rs. 29200-92300/-)" shall be substituted; (ii) Note 2 shall be omitted. (k) against serial number 11 relating to the post of Constable/Assistant/Mechanic/Cleaner,- (A) in column (4), for the existing entry, following entry shall be substituted, namely:- "Level-3 (Rs. 21700-69100/-)."; (B) in column (11), under sub-heading "Deputation (including short term contract) /absorption",- (i) in item (ii), for the words, figures and letters "Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) plus grade pay of Rs. 2000", the words, figures and letters "level-3 in the pay matrix (Rs.21700- 69100/-)" shall be substituted; (ii) Note 2 shall be omitted.
